From life Yeah, people here are more kind than in Daugavpils. In Daugavpils or in other city I haven’t heard “hi” from my neighbors. Even if we don’t know each other, we say “hello” to each other – that’s really cool! And also I haven’t met angry people when I ask them help about trolley or bus in situations when I don’t know how to reach my destination place. Probably I have met only good persons living here only two weeks – if so, I will write a post about it 
By the way – I haven’t seen anyone smoking in stairwell or doing something bad. We hav flowers and plastic windows in stairwell and nothing bad happens with them too… There are living different people, or where is the problem in other cities? Or there is only one buildin like this and I’m living in it?

Video Great documentary film about hackers made by Ashley Schwartau and her friend Amanda Shapiro. I really suggest to watch this film media correspondent’s/reporter’s, who don’t know what a hacker is.
The inspiration for this film came from a brief discussion I had with one my professors in March of 2007:
“I’ll be missing class on Friday since I’m going to a conference.”
“Oh, that’s fine. What kind of conference?”
“A hacker conference.” I was going to Shmoocon.
“HACKERS?! Like….*whispers dramatically* computer hackers? They have CONFERENCES?!”
“Um…yes.”
“What do they do there? Do they try to hack into banks and take over networks and steal credit cards?”
*blank stare* “………….yes.”
After that enlightening conversation, I decided that maybe hackers had been getting a bad rap for too long. How could people really still believe that all hackers were computer criminals? So after feeling out the idea at Shmoocon, I decided it would be a great idea to do a real documentary. I wrangled my friend Amanda into being my sound girl and come with me to DefCon where we recieved many strange stares as we tried to convince people that they wanted to talk to us on camera
