BarCamp Baltics 2009 summary

This was my first BarCamp and I really enjoyed it! I really liked presentation about Ruby on Rails and Object-C – OS X/iPhone programming.

I had been registered a week or more ago but didn’t get my identification card. So I was walking around like a looser as it was mentioned in http://podraide.lv/ 27. podcast.

I’m going to go to BarCamp Baltics 2009! So, “wtf is BarCamp”?

BarCamp is a unique international conference for specialists in new media, blogging, podcasting, social networking, citizen journalism, web projects development, web 2.0 concept, open source software, mobile phone Internet connection and everything else linked with listed above.

International network of conferences

BarCamp is an international network of conferences formed by presentations and messages of participants themselves. Starting from 2005, BarCamp conferences are held in many countries and cities of the world. Professionals and amateurs from the IT-industry meet at these conferences to share experience, discuss the latest tendencies, exchange their contacts and so on.
